17th october 2009 – attended medical camp with anglican welfare ministry at kampung penangah. the previous day, we travelled from kota kinabalu to telupid on a three-hour car ride after a half-day’s work.
all pictures taken by c. lee using gus, unless otherwise stated.

after resting overnight at the valley of blessing, telupid, we started the day early at around 6.30am, greeted by a rainbow. picture taken by blog owner.

the villagers explained the reason they tattooed themselves is so that when they enter the jungle, the evil spirits will not take away their soul.
